A touch of advice from an old fucker to a young one... Humility can go a long way when you are newbie to a board... Let folk get to know you and they will find out whether you are for real or not...

welp spent the last 40 minutes dredging through posts by heqdvd as well as posts by you cj.

Let me share what I learned: heqdvd was a bit out there, you realized however that his weakness was that he liked to argue things and wasnt very good at doing it. You on the other hand like to argue things but are a bit more articulate and have more experience than he did to speak of.

Congrats on the experience but the problem now being, I too (like he was) am new here. I as foolishly as it may have been assumed this was a place to discuss individual strengths that may have added to the boards experience as a whole. However luckily I had you to point out to me that it realyl does not matter what I know, or I guess what I can show via affiliate stats, because im not "one of the few that were here at the beginning" or im not an "ass kisser".

From what I have read, you are a very successful woman who has a lot of positive goals both on and off the internet, whether it be continueing to develop sites and projects to crunch numbers and better ratios, or opening that shelter to assist "single mums", or even plan B being something that isnt even invented yet.

Your personality doesn't lend well to others posting of their successes, whilst this can be a problem for people easily flustered like heq, its not for me as I consider everyone here as someone I can learn something from.

The main problem is what im learning at this point is things seem to be more cliche and political in nature here. Which doesn't lend well to anyone learning anything. You go from one extreme at GFY where all they do is spam and post about crap to people here in my opinion somewhat afraid to post actual thoughts for fear of what others would say or how their idea would be torn apart, much like my idea about developing adultmagazine.org which iguess started most of this off.

Too many of you are closed minded because something might not be, a product or service you havent mastered yet or have had experience with. however instead of constantly putting people down why not try to better the group. I may come across as cocky but its more just me being confident in what I do, much like you are. The difference is I have not put forth much effort yet as I am just not motivated. I think that is most of what seperates your successes to the successes I might never have.

Everyone wants something different out of life, all I want is happiness and a tad bit of success so i can have a log cabin somwhere quiet. I dont need to push "75K in the last three months" or "bigger numbers over the past few years"

So far i haven't seen anything of substance from you explaining what exactly your issue with me is, which leads me to believe you really dont have one. So can we please move on from this rediculous babble and learn from each other on the board as e all come from different backgrounds and carry knowledge the other doesnt have.

It was never introducing myself as im Lou and I make X$. I introduced myself as someone that has a mainstream site that is doing well (never mendtioned any money numbers, someone that is fairly good with search engine marketing and willing to assist or offer my work to whoever wanted it, and that i also do adult setups and have a domain adultmagazine.org that im looking to developing into a 500-1000 revenue stream / was looking for sponsor thoughts.

The problem is once that was said, half the people started in that because I was using a .org it had no merit and thus I might be a crackpot and didnt know anything. That is where it started, and as I said i brought up the numbers to show that I wasnt a wannabe or a newbie and that I do have, albeit it somewhat limited, a short proven track record.

Unfortunately it seems that everyone here would rather just not believe someone, call them a lier, and a bullshitter unless they post hard facts which is what I did with the affiliate numbers, although I knew the comment about photoshopping it to be what i wanted would come into play and I dont think I even need to address that issue.

Thank you saying that I am on the right track, to be honest in an email exchange with sarettah I mentioned to him that one of my current issues is a lack of motivation, this is why I dont work as often as i should. Its not because I don't think I have to, its more just with things going on in my life right now, there is nothing that makes me want to.

And as far as "if someones only making a couple K a month on the web they should be asking questions not answering them" this is just the wrong attitude in my opinion. Just because I dont make a 6 figure income doesnt mean i dont have anything to offer.

Im positive most of them have a ton more experience than I do and most of them know more, but beyond that I have no worries. Its just tough when your persoanlity isnt one of being submissive, sittign back, lurking and not adding to any conversation ebcause you havent been initiated yet. My personality type is one of something that likes to take the lead but knows when its necessary to allow others that right, however in that case I stay close behind and not get shuffled to the back of the room. Amongst other similar personality types im sure it can be an issue.

I actually have a lot of friends after being ni teh same dorm for a couple years that i was on campus and they all respect me as a person not because of what I do on the internet, unfortuantely until an internext rolls around this wone be the case with anyone here. We are inherently different. As far as ding the fries are done, I actually wanted to pick up a day job either as a waiter or even working fast food just so I could be more on teh front lines with the public to network with local industry in my home area. There is nothing wrong with that.

Im sure some of what I know isnt known by everyone here, we all have different specialties. You know more about jettis, epock, ccbill, globill, than I ever want to. Why? because you deal with them on a daily basis, I have no desire to run a paysite. This principle can be carried over to almost any debatable topic in one for or another.

Yes but did you get there all by yourselves? or did you have a group of people you could bounce ideas off of and talk shop with that helped you get there. The latter is all I was looking for.
