Voodoo, the Somilia incident was a victory for the US. We wiped out a few thousand skinnys, and captured the people we wanted. We would not have lost as mant men if we had armour there. Trust me, in Iraq right now, we have PLENTY of tanks and APC's.... in Somolia all we had were hummers.

I too worry about getting bogged down in Bagdad, but I think out leaders are smart and have ways of dealing with things. AND unlike previous Administrations, this one will let the military have every tool they need, and let the professionals choose the best way to handle the war.

Your right, Somalia was a victory, and
I agree with you that this will be different, but with one exception.

One of our main focusus is to minimalize collateral damage.
If and when they roll into Baghdad, I dont see them firing
Abrams into the city, and you know that Saddam and company
will be hiding behind blind civilians. By blind, I mean, poor
Iraqi people that hate america because of the bs they have
been fed for years and years.
