Nope,Trev

I think it was a major error of judgement.

Poor world politics and diplomacy.

I think when Sadam said "President Bush, Blow me!" this was not what he had in mind.

I agree wholeheartedly. But now the beast is off and running it's impossible to stop it, without looking weak.

Could things have been dealt with differently? We all know they could, but this is the path Saddam chose.

I'm a little saddened today, yet I still support the war...

I am waiting for that mother of all bombs to get dropped in the middle of the presidential palace area... flatten everything on that side of the river in one shot.

That would be shock and awe.

The anti-aircraft fire is still to heavy to take in a MOAB. The plane that can carry that sucker flies slow and isn't exactly made for dodging AA fire.
Looks like they're doing fine without it though, but I'm sitting here confused as to why they haven't targeted the AA guns themselves.

Carrie, the AA positions are often set up on the roof of apartment complexes and in the middle of residential areas. I don't think there is any great desire to get into a pissing war of "there was a gun there" while the TV shows civilians being pulled out of a squashed apartment complex.

That is what I have come to understand, anyway.
