US Marine CH46 helicopter comes down over Kuwait. All 12 Americans and 4 Britons aboard are lost.

Actually they got it wrong, now reporting 12 Brits, 4 American Aviators.

Yeah ... that news hit just before my girlfriend went to bed. Her son is a USMC Captain over there. She's trying her damnedest not to be paranoid as hell, and she fakes it well.
It’s being reported that it was 8 British soldiers and 4 American aviators from the MoD.
My thoughts are with their families and loved ones.

Very Sad. Now news has come across about the first marine being killed in combat. They all have died for a great cause, My respect, thanks, and prayers go out to them and their families.

just reported a 2nd marine was killed about 5 hours ago in a fire fight in the same area as the other one:(
