A recent quote from Tom Daschle:

After negotiations at the United Nations collapsed Monday, Daschle said President Bush had "failed so miserably at diplomacy that we're now forced to war."

A 1998 quote from Tom Daschle:

In 1998, when President Clinton bombed Iraq, Daschle said this, "We have exhausted virtually our diplomatic effort to get the Iraqis to comply with their own agreements and with international law. Given that... We have got to force them to comply, and we are doing so militarily."

Tom Daschle is a scumbag, who will say, do anything if he think he can derive politcial power. He is the worst type of person. I can live with an honest liberal, someone who beleives certain things - but to bounce back and forth only to try and gain power and votes on MAJOR ISSUES dealing with OUR NATIONAL SECURITY is outragous!

Don't be so naive as to think it only happens from democrats.

I HIGHLY suggest you read this url http://slate.msn.com/id/27730/ Mike and you'll see hypocrisy at it highest form and will realize that Tom DeLay, Dennis Hastert and many of the republicans are nothing short of hypocritical pieces of trash who shroud themselves in the false cloak of patriotsim only for their own political purposes.

What we need is the Libertarians to bring some common sense to politics (at least until they succumb to the power trip and the cycle repeats) :awinky:

1) That was then, this is now.

2) That's because what Clinton wanted to do was almost like Nation-building. We didn't nation-build back then. Well, we don't do it now, but the panel of 47 talking heads hasn't come up with a new name for what we do now - NOTNationbuilding just doesn't cut it. Anyway, that was then, this is now.

3) Wrong maniacal dictator. Sure, the difficulties caused by Milosovich could have spread to U.S./NATO allies Turkey or Greece, or involved Russia at some point - but that was then, this is now.

How am I doing? :)
