according to the Today show 2 scuds have been shot at Kuwait

1 was intercepted by a patriot missle

the other landed, where and what type of damage I dont know yet

anyone else have any info?

"One (Scud) was knocked by a Patriot system. Where the debris landed I'm not sure. The debris is being investigated at this moment. What we can say is there are no casualties," said the spokesman at a U.S.-British military headquarters in Qatar.

They SUCKED dirring the first war

couldnt hit the broad side of a barn

but it looks like they worked the kinks out of them

I laughed untill I nearly cried when I read this in that report:

In Baghdad, Iraqi Information Minister Mohammed Al-Sahaf said he had heard a report that U.S. forces had downed a Scud. "But we don't have Scud missiles," he said.

"U.S. and Kuwaiti sources initially reported all the missiles as Scuds, but the Pentagon later said it believes they were al Samouds or some other type of missile. "
