View Full Version : 10% CTR from Exit Traffic - Good or Bad?

Just looking for some opinions here - I bought some exit traffic and am getting a little better than a 10% CTR off the pages the traffic is going through. Once there I appear to be getting a normal CTR off to sponsors.

Does this sound like a reasonable %?

On my own personal exit traffic I got a 7% CTR on monday, but I go back a week I got nearly 13%...

I have some really crapy traffic sources so I can't even say if 13% is good...

sorry

This seems low to me, but I guess it all depends on what kind of traffic you have. I would think you could get up to 20%

IT is an interesting question.....

Pornodoggy, it depends on alot of things, the most important is this: What are you using as your "move forward" link on that traffic, and how many move forward links you have...

Example, if you add more options, are more people clicking forward? Is the offer you are making only good for one niche? Are you leaving the non interested people to close the window, or are you giving them another option, maybe a generic "don't want that do this instead"?

Sexzity is where I got the traffic, and it's been profitable for me in the past. I was really just looking for some info on what CTR others have gotten from exit traffic, in an effort to see what I need to do with my pages. It was certainly not a question about the quality of the traffic.

BTW - Sexzity delivers what he says he will deliver, and is very, very easy to work with. This is not a compensated ad, either - although if pressured I'd accept some ... :)
