Am I still riding the coat-tails of disappointment from a slow, boring season of The Sopranos and an awful "please kill me now!!!" last couple of seasons of OZ - or is Six Feet Under already dragging in the 2nd episode???

Come on - let's move these story lines on a little PUH-LEEZE????

HBO programming and ER are about all I still watch anymore. If this show starts sucking I'll have nothing left! *whines*

I hear you Kath...

Have you ever watched 24 on Fox? Probably the best television I have ever seen. They have the first season on DVD, and I can guarantee you will spend the entire weekend watching it. It's that good... :)

We need Brenda to show up :bjump: Everyone's getting along WAY too well. Nate is SUCH a bore now! But it looks like Mom's getting ready to have a lesbian affair, lol! I think they're just setting things up to get REALLY good :okthumb:

edited because I'm spastic

Thanks VooMan - I'll definitely check that out.

I miss the fast-paced, can't-miss-a-minute-of-it days on the Sopranos. I guess every show I've watched since that first season has been judged by it. lol

Peaches - YES...I'm waiting for Brenda, I see she's still in the cast list. Lisa is just SOOOOOOOOOOOOO boring! lol

They're going out of their way to show how sicky sweet Nate and Lisa are. The calm before the Brenda storm....... :bdance: It was cool last night when you thought the guy at the beginning was going to blow up and you kept waiting for Rico to blow, hehehe. I think we're just being slowly brought into the web......

Speaking of Brenda - she was on So Graham Norton the other night - if you have warped sense of humor, and haven't caught him on BBC, you must - he's a trip!

And I agree with Voo on 24, but I only caught parts of last season and this season. I'm still on the wait list on Netflix with the DVD's - I hate to buy them because I know I'll just watch it once :(

Can't believe I missed it! I love Graham Norton - he is hilarious! I am a certified BBC freak....hub is being patient thinking it will run it's course, but I love that channel.

Coupling - rocks - but haven't been able to see it lately as the kids are staying up later. Definitely NOT for the kiddies. I catch Changing Rooms and Ground Force on weekends when cleaning house - lol And flip on Father Ted late at night when all the local must-see-crap comes on TV here.

Great channel - I forgot about that one. So....HBO and BBC America. I got two channels now! :rokk:

*getting on the NetFlix list to get the 24 DVDs when Peaches is finished* lol

I've only seen a few of the Couplings and thought I would die! One that I do remember was the one with the dildo and the parents, lol! A friend said the new season is not as good though :(

Coupling is fantastic! I have enjoyed the new season so far. I agree with you Kath, BBC kicks butt! I love most of their comedies, Coupling, Father Ted, etc (though not too fond of the office) and Ground Force and Changing rooms rock!

As for Six Feet Under, it has been slow, and I was not at all thrilled with them marrying off Nate like that, I mean really!! I think Peaches is right though, it could be a slow burner to trap us. :) But they better hurry, I was almost asleep on it last night!

Bestat...good to see you sweetie - hope the move is going well! :) Should have known you would like BBC programming too - lol What DON'T we have in common???

I know what you mean about almost falling asleep - I guage mine on bathroom breaks. If a show is so good that you'll hold it for an hour, then that's a good show. I recently upped my water intake BIG TIME and last night I was able to leave the show TWICE without missing a beat. lol

Oh well....let's hope Peaches is right...c'mon Brenda - we MISS YOU! :wnw:
