Howdy folks,

I'm sure most of you didn't even know I was gone, but this past week I had the pleasure of driving from Seattle to Atlanta.

I love a good road trip and the scenery was unbelievable. Unfortunately, I didn't buy the camera until I was in Wyoming, and believe it or not, Montana was even more incredible than this.

Just outside of Sheridan, Wyoming. :okthumb:

Welcome back, Voo - they don't call that area of the States "Big Sky Country" for no reason! That's a great pic! :zoinks:

Beautiful picture! :okthumb:

Sorry Peaches, there aren't any others quite like that one. It's the only picture where I stopped the truck and got out. The rest of the pictures are blurry shots of the windshield and some fuzzy snow off in the distance. haha

Sword, it took three days... but I was definitely on a mission. 900 miles a day was my goal. :okthumb:

VooMan - you pulled a RawAlex! I love nothing more than putting some serious miles on the road... I did the loop last summer for conventions (monteal -> Reno -> Las Vegas -> Miami -> Montreal) - that stretch from outside Salt Lake City all the way almost to the plains is stunning - amazing mountains, views, open space... more open space. EVEN MORE OPEN SPACE...

This year I might do it on my Motorcycle instead. :-)

I hear you Alex... Don't know why, but I really love to go on trips like that. I didn't even have the radio on most of the time. Just driving and taking it all in... :)

I would have liked to take the route through Salt Lake City and Denver, but I just didn't have the time. The weather had me worried as well. It all turned out great though...

Ya know, you're not getting any younger....here you were, out on the open road (and I'm assuming on T's dime :awinky: )...it wouldn't have KILLED you to stop and smell the roses, cacti, joshua trees, etc. and made a real trip out of it! :headwall:

Next time, sneak me out there with you and I'll either a) show you how to stay away from the interstate and find the REAL fun towns/restaurants/life or b ) make you want to kill me :nyanya:
