Well, I'm here, but mostly lurking. It does look like this is a BB where mostly US 'friends' hang out, how come?

What causes a lot of foreign (for you that is, to me you are the foreigners :groucho: ) webmasters go to boards like GFY and AWI, but not Oprano or even PC.

I'm from the UK and I've been lurking here ages... mainly when the board was in the other format, but I'm growing to love it like this.

Personally I hate GFY :headwall: because it's full of small minded imature cockholsters looking to piss and whine... here I can read to *more* adult and reality driven threads.

And as eurotrash I feel it to be my duty to show my face here :biglaugh:

I'm not familiar with actual numbers, but the biggest sites on the net are Dutch if I am not mistaken.

Australia, is that really a leading country?

Naughty - good question.

I myself post at GFY quite a bit.

Oprano is home base for me though because I have met many of the webmasters here in person and have friendships with them that have existed for years. Try as I might to beat the trend, I seem to do 90% of my business with people I have met in person which is mostly the people here. Much more productive here for me. There is that other 10% of webmasters though - webmasters like you that I know only from the boards but hope to meet in person someday.

This bothers me quite a bit. The fact that I am not much of a traveller seems to get in the way of doing 90% more business :headwall:


I might check out who will be in amsterdam next month though, I am there quite a bit these days anyway, might as well get some of those 'leaders' stoned on 'our leader in the industy' :hic:

Actually, there are lots of people hanging here from other countries.

The Dutch are porn industry leaders?? Ok..

The Aussies are HUGE in this industry and quite a few of their top people hang or read here.

I think that Oprano is a rather well-bred mix of the intelligensia of this industry.
