Sales will continue to drop right up until it starts. The next day, after the war is over, there will be a new flood of signups.

It is written.

it depends how long it's gonna last...seasonal tendencies are not in favor of the "flood"

Pleasure Labs is pleased to announce an initiation of our new program "Lifetime Porn signups for Oil". We are scheduled to ship 20,000 computers to Iraq immediately following the formation of a new Iraqi Constitution as a "good-will" gesture. Please stay tuned for updates.

Like I was saying.... if the war starts on a Thursday, signups will be quite low from now up until then. The next day (Friday) when the war is over, people will begin buying memberships.... probably that night.

Hey, people gotta celebrate.

I dunno.

We have been training our models to play war games with our customers in order to prop sales up.
So far "Hide the evidence", "Biggest missile", and "which cave is it in?" are the most popular.

I think while lots of people will be glued to TV during war, I was up for 48 hours straight wwatching CNN hen the war started last time....

Hopefully war will be over in a few weeks.....

However, when people stay home, and do not leave their house they tend to spend more time on the internet. I think my profits were up on Feb due to the snow the covered most of the country for a few weeks - people are stuck inside so they surf for porn!!

Since new year then US signups VS. the rest of world signups have been close to normal.

Except since this week, then US signups have been 10% lower than normal... same ammount of traffic, same scrubbing, but less US surfers submiting their cc/ach/phone details. However signups from the rest of world are still normal (actualy we have had increes in signups from France - dunno what to make from this... maybe all the attention they are getting are making them horny :)

I dont think the war will have a negative impact on the porn biz.

History has actually shown that in times of emotional stress (e.g. war or a bad economy) that people turn to "vices" such as drugs, alcohol, and sexual promiscuity.

JMHO but i think added mental and emotional stress of war will actually improve sales as people see ways to "get away" in their minds.

I agree Hooper :okthumb:

I think as loong as the world stand between crossroads, then sales will be effected (not in a "steady flow" as normal)... people are "holding their breath", but I´m sure at some point they need to gasp, and inhale some porn :D
