where is the 'arguing is almost pointless because it is going to happen anyway so lets make the best of it and hope as few as people as possible on either side die' option?

well, i don't want any innocent person to die. Some people will say you can't tell which ones celebrated so fuck them all. I say, you can't tell so lets hope those that didn't or those that did at the order of the gov't are spared.

What is the point of all this 'liberation' we hear about if people wish all the people we are suppose to be liberating dead?

Saddam's gotta go. He shoulda gone before 911. He shoulda gone in '91.

It won't do anything to deter terrorism. In fact, it will probably spark more terrorism. I don't think he has a damn thing to do with the terrorists who want to destroy America besides a tendency to the same rhetoric.

He's still gotta go.

We will win the war.

Who will win the peace is a far murkier question.

He was talking about the great depression, but I think that sums up my fear regarding terrorism after Saddam is removed... He needs to be removed, and if militant muslims want to use the removal of an evil dictator to start terror, then I think they will use ANY excuse to start terror.
