I just gotta ask this Q... Know the sport of curling? The thing with the rocks on ice? Very popular in Canada.
Any Opranoholics play this strange sport?

more like boche ball on ice. I couldn't belive I got into it but I did. A lot of people in the UK wanted to learn to play when we won the olympics but the only places to play it are in Scotland.

No, it's possible to play in London somewhere. But they play only once a month or so, so I guess you'd need to go to Scotland
Or try the national curling federation. :P They know where to go.
Gayest sport... LOL... yeee, why not. Fags on ice? :barfon:

You can get it at Amazon... it will explain the game (and the Canadian attitude for it)... the Royal Montreal Curling Club is the oldest sporting association in North American, dating back over 250 years...
Alex
We enjoyed watching the Curling events in the winter Olympics last time around. I had never seen it before the events. Very interesting - and you're right Sarah - a lot of strategy is involved.
Will check Amazon (or maybe Netflix? do I dare to dream?) for that movie Alex. Would be cool to learn more about it. :)

good to know I wasn't the only one watching it. In the UK a large part of the nation stayed up in the middle of the night to watch us win the gold.
I keep pushing for a nude women curling competition
I can hear the announcer now ....
"Do you think anyone told her it's not polite to point"

Curling is a lot of fun. I've played a handful of times.
Ya need to be 3 sheets to the wind to fully enjoy the experience, though. :stout:
