Hacked Password Sites?

Hello. I do not post, usually read. But isnt this illegal? And there are lots of passwords to popular programs listed on this site.

I looked up the domain name and they dont seem to be based in the USA. Is there anything we can do?

Nothing new! Password sites have been a pain in the industrys ass for a long time. The only way to hurt them is to go after their sponsors - CEN used to always pander to them, back when JoeE was with them....

Brad sued one, and I think was pretty successful - but it was not worth his time or effort....

I like how it goes straight to an email registration page and you can't even see the site url you have a hacked password to ... and that's as far as i'm going into the site, i get enough spam already ;-)

CJ, you missed the best part - it's a TIED SALE site... after the email, up comes the credit card page with a $40 or so tied sale to another membership site...

Let's see... if they are giving free access to the sites listed, then they hacked the passwords and are distibuting stolen access... if they aren't, then it's false advertising.

Yeah I did not go past the first part, assumed it was a scam - surely was not putting my e-mail addess in.

I didnt go past the credit card page, but I almost guarantee that every free/$40.00 password goes to another one of their own pay sites..... Kinda like a free tour thing maybe ??

Hooper, I can read - I go to the site listed, I click on a link to use one of their hacked passwords to get into a site (not one you own), and it asks me for my email and stuff...

So, your telling me you buy traffic from password sites (even fakes one)?

You don't have a problem promising access to a site that you don't own?
