I think the idea of Boycotting France was more of a joke than anything to take serious.

But, for example, to bring up Kyoto.... a simple attempt to destroy America’s economy, while at the same time giving a free pass to other countries challenging us in the global market??

The fact is that it does not matter what the US does. The US will always be a target of other countries as long as it is number one. It would be no different for Holland if it was number one.

OK Well I am one who was serious about boycotting France and French Products.

The French are purposely interfering with our foreign policy, and our national interest. They are doing it because of their economic connections with Iraq, They see themselves as the "counterbalance to US power", and Chirac wants to hide his true relationship with Saddam ( he has been helping supporting Iraq, includingselling nuclear plant that Israeli destroyed in the 80s)

As far as i can remember, dutch is actually a swearing nickname to people from Holland.
I believe it comes from the days, that europeans where going around in their wooden ships & collected country´s and shipping slaves around (we dutch where one of the biggest....not proud of that offcourse).

I speak some German and word etymology is interesting to me.

English is a Germanic language as is Dutch. Both evolved from German. I think Germany was the name the Romans used to refer to the people who spoke "Deutsch". Deutschland = Germany.

Kyoto was a ploy by Europe to drag the American Economy down the drain. The burden it would have placed on OUR industrial infrastructure would he made us uncompetative.

The one thing the world will never have a shortage of is morons.

Still ... I don't recall the liberation of Holland by Soviet troops. That means two things. First, your country was liberated by the Western allies, including the Americans. Second, you did not have to endure 50 years of occupation by Russian puppets before liberation finally came.

There is also evidence that climate change is several times below the amount predicted by the computer models used for the Framework Convention.

In fact, since 1990 the estimates for Global warming have been revised lower consistently.
