I like the new opportunities to expand into other areas:

and of course having been in the restaurant business, I love the idea of working in a SANE industry ;)

if this industry is sane the restaurant industry must be really fucked up.

I worked in the bar business for a few years and thought it was bad. I'm reading Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain right now, and Lawd have mercy - we look like lazy, organized angels compared to that crowd! :zoinks:

My favorite part of this industry is being able to work at home in my jammies :) Sometimes though, the worst part is that I also live in my office :(

Peaches, I read that, what a scream! Some of my chef friends say it's all too true, as well!

I like customer service best of anything on my paysite. I have worked with everything but owning a TGP..and like the paysite the most. I get a lot more interaction with surfers that way. Teaches you what they're looking for.

Peaches...I gotta agree with you there. *still in jammies drinking coffee*

I mainly work as in online writing/editing, print magazine writing/interviewing, resources, marketing, consulting, advertising...

What I like best is... EVERYTHING! Having the freedom to do a little bit of this and a little bit of that all on a relaxed time table & schedule so that I have the FREEDOM to live my life and be with my family.

This biz rocks! :rokk: :rokk: :rokk:

Me too, even though it's inconvenient going out in my pajamas in the middle of the afternoon to do it some days...

The part of the biz I like the most is that there are no limits, really - try anything, form your own opinions, do your own things...

the cashing checks part is kewl too. :-)

You need to move here - as you know, moving from East Cobb, where you put on make up and do your hair to hit the grocery store was quite a culture shock. The first time I saw someone here leaving the Walmart with no shoes, Tshirt, blue jeans, and pink curlers in her hair, I knew it was OK to wear jammies to the bank's drive through - and I've done it :rokk:

LOL Peaches, I almost tore my hair out when I lived in Roswell... the traffic and the attitude just sucked.

I have a growing jammie collection lately and I have no problem going to the store for cigs or even to the bank in them, my darn puppy keeps chewing up my slippers so that does poes a bit of a fashion faux pas ;)

This I understand. I do love working from home but the problem can be that I never actually leave work.

The obvious solution is to get slippers to match the puppy :) http://www.onlinebeach.com/slippers.jpg

(and before some smartass asks, no, those are NOT my hairy legs! )

I think we all know my legs will NEVER be that long - or thin - or muscular! :awinky:
