I have'nt been around for a couple of days but has anyone else heard about this?

Hmmmm this is strange... wonder if it will come out in a mainstream news orginization.

I doubt Powell writes his own speeches, someone better fire the guy who wrote it!! If it is indeed stollen!

I don't personally put a lot of faith in a site that can't spell "testimony" :zoinks:

I read this last week. It played bigger in the British press.

Some bias and slant for sure in the coverage.

One has to accept the basic assumption that "It gives the impression of being an up to the minute intelligence-based analysis" and that no other older info was meant as part of the speech.

"Written by a college student" is one way to say it. Another is to say that it was published in a journal. We shouldn't be so hard on grad students that are good enough to publish.

Anyway, I believe Powell mentioned the article and the journal it was published in at some point in his speech. Correct me if I'm wrong.
