We're used to the cold more than our US neighbours... even the US soldiers who are stationed in Alaska must hate it there.

Plus, we often stop American fishing vessels off the coast of Vancouver Island. Yeah, we could move in any time we wanted to. :P

Canada and the US have very similar military.....we just don't give ours guns...we give 'em hockey sticks and beer cans instead. :awinky:

I invaded Canada in mid December. Pretty tight border controls. :rolleyes: Didn't ask me for id, didn't ask me anything for that matter, just waved me through both on the way up and on the way back.

On the way back you would have gone through US customs, not Canadian. :awinky:

Little do you know that there is a strong French Canadian military force located somewhere within the boundaries of the state of Florida.

Their only giveaway to everyday people might be their fondness for fries and cheese curds and their DuMaurier cigarettes...
