None Converting Country Traffic

So what do you do with your "absolut not - no where in hell" converting traffic from specific countries?

This is the traffic where no known payment or billing option work (credit cards, checks, dialers, goats, stones)... I would say that the average adult sites have about 20-30% of their traffic from total worthless countries.

I know they click and bring in new/more fresh traffic if you are a tradesite, however trading this worthless traffic will probably hit you in the head like a boomerang, when your trading partners does the same to you.

Selling them to PPC SEs or to other sites (tgps, cjs etc.) would be very bad as they would also have no way of making back what they paid for them...

20-30% of all traffic from worthless countries - shouldn´t all adult sites on the net just denied access to them, and save the bandwidth (saving atleast 20-30% on your bandwidth bill, is better than earning zero $).

So what do you do with your absolut worthless country based traffic, or what would you like to do B)

Send them to CJs and Toplists. What else can you do? letting them disappear, is kinda waste.

Even if you get 1 click from US for every 100 afgani clicks, its better than nothing. And if you redirect rightaway (without any html being served) then its 0 cost to you anyways.

It may be worthless to toplists and CJs too, but hey, they are doing the same thing anyways :)

So it all worksout nicely.

ok - maybe I was bit hard on some countries - some do convert in 1/100.000 :grrr:

And that usual means that their follow citizens, who do not signup, use more in bandwidth on traffic sites, tgps and paysites tours, then what the paysites make in the entire lifetime of the rare country member.

Looking at some signup and dialer stats , then I will be very interested in hearing from anybody who have converted traffic from one or more of these countries in the last 1-2 months (oh by converting I mean they actual paid for something - not signing up for free email subscriptions etc.):

Thats currently my most worthless list - they count 15-17% of the traffic (China being the biggest with ½ of that traffic). If I add the countries which do convert, but does it very poorly, then its soon 25%...

Yes, ads, tours, content, language, processing are all key elements in getting good conversions, however after many tries, then I comming to the conclusion that traffic from these countries simply will not convert.

Could be that I´m wrong and those surfers from Yemen are making killer conversions on other sites, if so then please let me know :)

Rolo, conversions to "free" email accounts isn't an issue if someone is paying you for it.

Some of the countries you have listed are partly or mostly blocked from seeing porn. They are non-buyers, and they should be disposed of directly - to a top list, a traffic trade, or to a TGP via some sort of traffic trade trigger - then they have value, even if they are not spending money - the more of those people you can route and trade for better surfers, the better you are doing.

Remember, they are still "numbers" and they can be traded around with people who have less tracking and are more interested in numbers...

Well - I´m both for and against sending them to trades/toplists etc.

I know there are alot of people out there, who would rather be in the top10 on sextracker, then making more money... and one unique visitor from Yemen still counts as much as one unique visitor from the US (on the counters that is). But what happens when in 6 months time everybody are sending their "worthless" visitors to trades. I could forsee that we will then begin to trade hits based on countries.. I send you 10 Afghans you send me 1 US surfer... "surfer exchange rates"TM would be nice :D
But then again, if that doesn´t happen, then trading will be a real problem (either you get a bad rep for poor traffic, or the only traffic which you can get will be the same stuff you are trying to get rid off).

Selling it to sponsors who do not know better... mixing it with a little bit of quality traffic... and we got the old school clickthru brokers back in business (ofcourse using scrab version of MKStats without countries table showing B)
