Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines

They sure pushed T3 hard during the superbowl today. So I wanted to ask, am I the only one who thinks it really doesn't look that great?

I'm a huge Terminator fan, and I was climbing the walls waiting for T2 to come out. But this one, none of the previews have looked good at all to me, and I can honestly see myself waiting till it hits DVD to even check it out.

When I saw one of the first previews for it, in a movie theater a few weeks ago, I heard several people in the theater say they thought it looked stupid. I had to agree.

I think this will be one of Arnie's last big hurrah's as an action star, and I'm sad to see that it doesn't look too great.

Might be OK, but the Hulk and Matrix trailers looked better IMHO

I think they should have stopped with 2.

And I dont think the Hulk looked so hot either,
but we all agree, the matrix looks off the hook.

Matrix trailers were AWESOME.

Hulk looked terrible in my opinion. There has been so much hype about the public getting the first sneak peek today at what he was going to look like in the movie. It was sooo faky and stupid looking I actually wondered if it was a joke at first. I think they cost themselves some serious money by going with that cgi instead of just getting a roided out bodybuilder to do it. Way too faky imho.

I hit a movie forum a few minutes ago, there are already movie buffs & hulk fans signing online "pledge threads" to not see the movie because of how stupid fake looking the Hulk was in the previews. LOL I think some of those people take it a LITTLE too seriously, but I do agree with them the preview was terrible and Hulk looked bad.

Matrix on the other hand, is going to be HUGE! :rokk:

The chick in T3 is rocken. However the Matrix trailer is totally kick ass. The computer modeling looks flippin great.. can't wait to see it!

The hulk looked a bit too FAKE. Dunno how realistic its suppose to be though.

Re: Terminator....let Arnie keep making movies so he'll keep his finger out of California politics. Rumour has it he's going to be making a run for governor out here next time around. He was lobbying at my husband's union convention back in September - signing autographs and pushing some after-school care bill (which passed BTW). Hope he sticks to making movies and working on his bad accent. lol

Great game today BTW....not a Bucs or Raiders fan, but it was nice to see the "underdog" so-to-speak come out on top. Nobody really expected they would win - it was a nice surprise. :biglaugh:

I'm looking forward to seeing "Hulk" even though the trailer does look pretty bad...but I'm a hardcore Ang Lee fan, so it'll be interesting to see what his take on the "Hulk" is...but I think CGI has harmed movies as it has become a crutch...I pine for some good old physical effects...

T3 looks like a floating turd with enough special effects and "tag lines" in it to keep the people happy. I tend to worry about a movie that is getting promoted this far ahead, means they are trying to turn average into blockbuster... IMHO
