By the sum of it's parts it seems like a rather simple problem. It would seem trivial to read music if you can read text. It seems trivial once again for a computer to play music from a score.

Ingredients:


For the filling:


1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
2 large garlic cloves, finely chopped
1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
1 1/2 Tablespoons lard or vegetable oil
1 medium apple, peeled and cut into 1/2" cubes
1 medium pear, peeled and cut into 1/2" cubes
2 ounces blanched almonds, slivered
2 ounces raisins, soaked until soft, then drained
1 stick cinnamon
salt and pepper to taste

For the chiles:


8 large poblano chiles, prepared for stuffing (See Note)
4 eggs, separated, at room temperature
1/4 teaspoon salt
Oil for frying

For the sauce:


1 quart unsweetened heavy cream
4 ounces walnut meat, soaked in milk, drained and chopped

For the garnish:


2 pomegranates, peeled and separated into seeds
4 sprigs parsley, leaves only, chopped fine
Preparation:


After preparing chiles as described in the note below, pat them dry and set them aside while you make the filling. The batter will not adhere to them properly if the chiles are not dry.

Melt the lard or oil in a large skillet; saute beef, pork, garlic, onion, apple, pear, almonds, raisins and cinnamon stick until the meat has lost its pink color. Remove the cinnamon stick, add salt and pepper to taste and allow the filling to cool to room temperature. When cool, fill the chiles, dividing the mixture evenly.

You will have fluffier and more uniform coating if you make the egg batter and fry the chiles in two batches. Beat two of the egg whites al punto de turron - that is, until they stand up in peaks, stiff but not dry. Lightly beat two yolks and half the salt together; fold them gently into the beaten egg whites. Dip each of four filled chiles into the mixture, turning them gently to coat evenly. Place each one immediately into a large skillet with hot oil. Fry them until golden on the bottom side (lift gently with a spatula to check) then turn and fry on the other side. Repeat this process with the rest of the chiles and the other two eggs. Remove and drain on paper towels before placing on serving dish.

Put the cream and the walnuts in a blender or food processor and puree untill smooth. Pour over the chiles, and decorate with pomegranate seeds and chopped parsley.

NOTE: The chiles are prepared for stuffing by roasting over a gas flame or under a broiler until charred all over. They are then placed in a plastic bag for 10-15 minutes. Peel by rubbing them gently, using rubber gloves, under a stream of running water. (Stems are not removed, but can be trimmed beforehand if very long.) After the chiles have been roasted and cleaned, make a lengthwise slit up one side of each and carefully remove the seed sac and any loose seeds. Avoid over-handling the chiles.

1. I have a distributor at Direct that wants to carry my product when I reach 10 DVDs. I am on my 4th in seven months.

2. I'll get a little cash for that which I'll use to invest in a production house.
Then I'll make another 10 and start my own distributor line.

3. Eventually the quality of my product will get around (give me a year max) and I will offer "softcore" versions of the clips the pay-for-view cable stations like Spice, etc.

4. Then that money will go back into hiring a real crew and I can do this full-time. Hire a real staff, etc.

Webmasters and folks in the adult biz do not typically buy porn videos unless they have a content license with them. Why would they, we see this stuff day in and day out.

The folks who you are attacking here serve the same consumer base that you are trying to reach.

You can treat them as competition and guarantee they never help you in any way,

or you can treat them as potential partners, as folk that potentially control enough traffic, that if you made the right strategic alliances and worked out the a proper affiliate program could easily have changed the $75,000 you made your first year (or first 7 months, or whatever time period) into the 750,000 or 7,500,000 that was mentioned earlier.

Learn how the adult business and traffic building and networking work... Once you have mastered the concepts, put them to work for yourself.... Incorporate them into your business plans...

I try to learn and learn and learn all the time.. The way this is accomplished is using the ears twice as much as the mouth... I listen, experiment and apply.... and the results are good....

You spoke about search engine results earlier, Go to google, type in redheads in stockings (no, you don't need an exact phrase).. Look at the first one...it should be hosted on partyafterdark.com. Now do a whois on partyafterdark.com.... That's mine.... Now, go do a google on strap on dungeon (once again, no quotes needed) look at the top on that, should be on www.strapgirl.com... do a whois on that... once again, who do you see....

In other words, I am learning and learning... I applied the techniques I have learned and thiose are the types of results I am getting (btw, neither of those galleries are over 3 months old, they went to the top immediately)

and yes to the rest of the folks, I know it is not good to brag on search engine results, now I will have folks stealing galleries etc... but need to back up what I am saying here...

If you're looking for "big distributors," to push your DVDs to consumers, you're looking in entirely the wrong direction with regard to the segment of the industry you're addressing here.

We are involved in the INTERNET segment of the Adult industry. You need to be looking for distributors among the VIDEO segment, it appears. You might try checking out VSDA, or even AVN (not the Online division, the brick & mortar folks).

But I'll tell ya one thing... if you think you've seen some nastiness directed toward you from webmasters, what goes on in the Video end of the business will be the death of you. And webmasters are FAR more tolerant of the sort of behavior you've displayed than any of the Video people would be. "Chewed up & spit out" is a gross understatement.

One last comment: in the food chain that is Video, the people who make the MOST money are the distribs, and it ain't because they're benevolent or willing to help others make their fortunes in the business.

Paper Jewels is my wife's site... I tweak code and sometimes generate stuff for her and take care of most of the tech stuff....

So, if you want to make a comment about it, you can take it up with her...

If Paper Jewels generates enough income, then why not... You never know before hand what sure idea will work.... A lot of success in business is not just good ideas and working hard.. It is also hitting the market when the market is right...

Pet Rocks, Beenie Babies, Cabbage Patch Dolls, Barbie are all products that managed to hit the market (through chance or esp) at a point when folks were ready for them....

So, if enough people bought a paper jewel and enough folk wore them and other folk saw them or if a couple of popular talk show hosts wore them or spoke of them, they could just as easily become a retirement plan as anything else.....

But I never place all the eggs in one basket....

I program, both at a 40 hour a week day job and doing projects for Hatteras Designs and various independent clients....
I build websites, adult free sites, adult avs sites and various mainstream sites....
I do artwork, both for pleasure and profit.....

So, I have many avenues open at all times... Who knows which one will be the most successful? Not me by any means.

I searched for 'Intense NYC Sex DVD' and the first HEQ reference I found was ranked #6 - shit, for all the braggin I assumed he was at least ranked #1.... BUT it is a very popular search phrase, so #6 will probably get lots of hits. :D

Secondly, the #6 site is not even HEGQ2002.... it looks like he got his site listed with some guy and this guy's site is the one that comes up #6 in the Google search.

Thirdly, he uses IBill on his site even though he thinks CCBill in the only processor people use.

Fourthly, the quality of his content wasn't that good.

Most of us building free and avs sites have sex toy and sex video sponsors also.... we pass traffic to them and get our percentage of any sales our surfers produce.

If our consumer base was not the same, this model would not work... But it has worked many many times over and over again for many many people....

If you coded your pages and the Kim's video pages, then it looks like you have your coding wired down........ So may I suggest that you now get your sales technique wired too.....
