I was wondering the other day would they list the Player Hater Ball http://www.playerhaterball.com on the show site, so I submitted it and was told "thank you" so I assumed it would be up, well it's been about a week and we are still not listed, I wonder why ? ? ?

I did look at a few of the parties and one of the ones that really stuck out was a party held by "Jeannie Pepper" on Tuesday night, I love the web page, "FREE PASSES ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE!"

BUT don't worry you can still get a VIP pass.. check this link out : )

Do you really want it listed? Thought it was more an invite only affair for close friends and business associates and not something for the masses that go to the shows.

It is but if you read all of the parties listed they all say invite only.. so why not give our great sponsors more attention.

I was really just curious if they would list us opposit the Players Ball : )

Ahh.. well I'm not going so I never really looked at the page. If memory serves though, very few parties that say "invite only" end up being truly invite only.

Word gets out that we have open bar, food, live entertainment, plus special guests we are all going to get harassed more for passes!!

And of course the 2nd Annual Asshole Awards.... Wonder who is going to win this year??

Yo Billy....

It is my understanding that they only list parties that are "sanctioned" and the only way to get your party sanctioned is to have a booth at the show. Now, to their defense, that is a rule that I have ran into doing tradeshows everywhere that I have ever done them (mainstream shows, as well).

I would guess that is the reason that it is not listed....but I would have thought they would have told you that in the reply.

Sweet T, that rule is fair - however, a majority of the sponsors of PHB II DO indeed have booths at the show.

OF course I told Billy we do not want the attention, Billy thought it would be nice for the great sponsors we have for the PHB II!

MikeAI....Thats good enough, then....I know that as long as ONE of the sponsors has a booth then they will sanction the party (or at least that is my understanding). Billy might want to try again....if you want the attention :)

T - I submitted it as Sitepass.com the booth we are sponsoring at the show, so I can see no problem with it, hey it has only been a week I guess we will see. But it does make me wonder.

And if they had a problem with that they should have said something, at least that is what I think.
