I want to offer my membership customers an option to upsell on some discount priced adult DVD/Video titles. What I am looking for is a reputable company that can supply/package/distribute DVD's to our customers as part of our membership order process. I've seen several websites offering such promotions to their members.

Any recommendations? DVD players's are becoming sooo popular it should be a good growth market.
Anyone making interactive DVD's with multiple strands of video's, pics etc. on it?
I was thinking more along the lines of a small series based DVD set that was like an interactive paysite (on DVD) ? and the customer would get a new set every month (like the DVD series plus 1 or 2 promo DVD's - they could be then catagorised like normal, teens/ebony/fat/tranny/sluts etc.)

Also can one recommend some good Adult DVD reseller programs?

Merry Christmas to all :hic:

Would be a great cross packaged product with a regular membership....I guess then the customer may see the value in his $50 membership.

Would webmasters look at adding it to their websites (as a complete package: postage etc.) for a set rate per customer?

Any content providers interested in supplying content for such a venture?

Meatloaf there are some issues that would arise.

A major issue is shipping adult material to certain states and counties in the US is a quick way to get into legal trouble. One thing to server images or video from a server, but to ship material which could be deemed obscene could end someone up in jail.

We looked into producing interactive DVDs, where cosumers could in essence play and determine the outcome of the movie. The production effort would have been huge, and probably not worth the profits.

One good thing about selling porn online is that in reality we are selling 1s and 0s....

Just my 2 cents.

Hi Mike, thanks for the feedback. obscene material is definetly an issue.

How about reselling for an exisiting company? Any recommendations?
Do these companies normally ship to all 52 states?

Can anyone shed info on how maxcash is runing their DVD promo?

Meatloaf, there are so many states, counties and such where adult material may not be sent to via the mail. Ask Lee Noga, she can tell you how long that list is.

Hardgoods is a VERY different world from the net. The laws on our bits and bytes aren't really well formed at this time. The video business has been around for 25+ years, and there have been plenty of prosecutions as a result.

Mail a DVD to Salt Lake City, and send a copy to someone in Tenessee. Good luck. I hope for your sake that it isn't a postal inspector or an FBI agent buying it.

There are lots of places you can resell for.... I think you would be safe legally as well.

I know we deal with a few companies, just not sure which ones off hand.
