In porn flirting IS an aspect of sales!

If you are talking about 'smack talk' on your sites I agree.

On 90% of my sites (save gay/tranny sites) I try to portray a web'mistress'....make sure they think I'm a woman who loves porn and get that 'smack talk' going....IMO, I think it helps. :awinky:

Oh no doubt people love sites run by kinky women. Especially if she's active on the site.

I mean sales... selling programs, flirting with other webmasters, etc.

Hmmm, in that case...I think flirting is basic human nature...hehe...and you'll find it in all business, not just porn.

I don't agree. Being nice to people is one thing, but if you can't sell or market what you have on its' own merits, then the product probably sucks to start with.

Interesting case in point, a comment was made on another board about someone that basically does sit and talk dirty etc with potential clients all the time and didn't manage to close too many sales, so I think it backfires.

Be friendly yes, be upfront about what's going on yes, and above all be yourself.

I agree whole-heartedly KK.

DV, maybe we need to define 'flirting'. Do you mean the innocent type that comes with male/female intervention? (male/male, female/female if that is the case)

Or are you talking deliberately using your sexual prowess in order to close a sale?

I don't think it has to be sexual but sometimes teasing is sexual. For instance some of here have a little flirting going on that has sexual overtones but it means nothing.

No, in business it's business and should be, although this converstaion could also fall under 3 biggest obtacles in the biz. That topic I haven't gotten to yet.

I need to wash my hair, paint my toes and polish my Tony Lamas- it's a party night! Yeeeeee Hawwww

I think an aspect of one's charm is always influencial in any sale, sometimes this can be defined as flirting :inlove:
