I got back late last night, It was a blast! I love NYC!

Thanksgiving parade, Central park, Horse rides, the soup kitchen (No soup for you!), Carnegie Deli, Peter Lugars(Thanks Jason http://www.xxxatm.com).

We ended up staying at the Park Central Hotel. We didn't like the new Westin and checked out Thanksgiving morning.

I am very glad we decided to go, even with the FREEZING weather! I now know why you live in florida during the winter! I would not mind a longer stay there during the summer.

:-)

Ground Zero was very sad. To see the destruction and now construction to the WTC site and the damaged buildings around it really hits you!
Almost all the firetrucks we saw have a memorial printed on the side listing the firefighters that were lost in the tragedy.

We look forward to watching the new WTC grow every year with our new Thanksgiving tradition!

We did see Al Roker(sp?) riding a bike in Times Square. He really has lost a lot of weight!

I must also add that my trip to Little Italy was entertaining. We ate at Vincents... The doorman was straight out of a Sopranos episode. He was very polite and even talked with my daughter a bit about her kermit the frog stuffed animal... but his presence was definitely felt! lol

Sharky,
I'd say May is the BEST time to be there, along with end of October

NYC is good to visit, but dont try to live there.
To much of a hassle and stress.

I agree with Serge, May is about the best time
to be in NYC.
