crap. I just realized my moms birthday was last week, no wonder she sounded funny when she called. In all the chaos (which she is very understanding of at least) I TOTALLY missed it.

Buy her a membership to purve.com!! just what every mother wants .... ;-)))

no seriously, the most important thing you could do no matter what you buy her, is write her a card with a special thank you message for being such an understanding mother. say stuff about how without her you would not have the strength to push ahead when times get tough and that you love how she is always there no matter how bad things seem. it really doesn't matter all that much what you buy her, but you will be golden daughter again if you reconise your mistake and royally kiss ass to make up for it ;-))))
