What a cutie! The one on my avatar isn't mine - but I do have 2 (that are behind me on the loveseat - snoring - loudly). They're like potato chips - you can't have just one :agrin:

I dated a guy for several years that had 2 rotties - biggest lap dogs I've ever know - real sweethearts! :)

Welcome to Oprano, RottenPug! Thor looks like a handful for sure! I've always wanted a Pug myself - once I get a place that would be cool for a pooch I'll have to get with Peaches and see if I can adopt one or something! :awinky:

My dog was playing with a pug at the park the other day ... he kept running up and snorting ... do they always make that noise?!?!

LOL! Almost always :D When they're excited, running around, etc. they'll make it constantly. My female was bred to show - sad that she still ended up in rescue - and the "standard" is a VERY flat nose, so she's worse sounding than my male (who was a backyard breeder dog dumped on the road). Strangely, my male snores more when asleep than she does - typical! :biglaugh:

Before anyone get's a pug you MUST be able to deal with a FART machine, these dogs can blow you out of your own house. I have had big dogs all my life and none have smelt up a house like this guy. I thought there was something wrong with him took him to the vet only to find it is very common for these little guys...

Buyer Beware

Peaches you have this problem ?

Edd Thank you for the welcome aboard, If you get one more than likely you will get another one.

:D :D :D

LOL, no! :P Do they poot (southern girl word........)? Yes, but not any more than any other dog - or human :awinky: Have you tried changing his food? When I first got Ferdinand from the rescue group, they had him on some homeopathic food which was great healthwise, but he would clear a room in NO TIME. As soon as I got him off that he was fine. Rawhide will get them pooting though B)

If you ever need Thor's anal glands expressed, let MikeW know - he's been wanting to try that for months........ :moon: <---- that's for MikeW :)

Meg sometimes barks so hard she poots, hehehe :agrin:

Welcome to Oprano RottenPug. :)

And since we're talking about dogs, (and Peaches is totally expecting this) I favor the larger breeds myself... and of course, I am always looking for an excuse to post a pic. :awinky:

This is Brock:

Andrew,

How much food does Brock eat a month, and how much
does he weigh?

He looks like a GREAT dog.

I love the bigger breed of dogs myself. I used to have
a Irish Wolfhound, when on his hind feet, he stood
taller than me and weighed 188 pounds.

hahaha

Actually, they don't eat as much as you would think... The pics are about a year old, and Brock is now tipping the scales at 250 pounds. He's the biggest English Mastiff I have ever seen in my life, and he's taller and has a longer body than most. Right now he actually looks a little thin if you could believe that. When my sister told me he was 250 I couldn't believe it. I would have figured he was around 200... :)

You just gotta love that face. haha

Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I am heading out with Sweet T and family to visit my extended southern family today. :-)))
