To me this is bullshit. To have these young peoples futures reuined because they have some MP3s they downloaded from ther net is wrong. The service acadamies have our nations best and brightest, many who will become professional officers protecting this great country.

Protecting the record execs who are trying to make their lives difficult.

The people who are going after them, then RIAA or whatever get my vote as the cockholster of the week!!!

assholes.

It's people who have nothing better to do. The same kind of people who wanna bust some chick for sex toys, meanwhile they kick their dog, beat their wives and spend $500.00 a month on porn, phone sex and whores then try to write it off as a business expense.

:rokk:

Good point Vick!!

Now do not get me wrong, I think the midshipmen should learn they have to live their lives on a higher level, and they should be informed of Copyright violations. However a mere slap on the wrist is warrented at most - NOT a freaking Court Marshal.

midshipmen should be held to higher standards than the average joe ... however
WTF is looking for MP3's on their laptops? and why? and why did that make the news?

Should have been handled internally
