HAHA Vick have you seen that particular show?

It was impressive, the best traveling show I have seen of theirs.

Only O was better in my mind.

We were discussing what world class atheletes the cast are... amazing!

Haven't seen Quidam live, have the DVD - no where near the same effect as seeing Cirque Du Soleil live

Drallion is very good, after New Orleans it will play North Carolina then here in Baltimore

Really enjoyed Varekai - which will be in Atlanta in the spring

Drallion is schedule for Tampa sometime in the future

If I go to Vegas for Internext it will be to see O (Saw Mystere last year) and to attend the PHB

You are right Vick.

Though a close second and third might be hot chics, and Crown Royal.

Are you also a member of the Cirque Club!

The last one I got was about something in San Fran !

Maybe we should get a group up to go see Varekai in Atlanta or NY ???
Anybody game ? ?

OOh, OOh, pick me, pick me! I'll go either place (though naturally Atlanta would be easier ;))

The only one I've seen in person is Alegria - sat on the 1st row - absolutely amazing!!

OK I guess we have to wait to get the club announcment about when the tickets will go on sale since club members do get to pick first : )

Vick.. you up for Atlanta ? ?

Vick
11-09-2002, 04:23 PM
Billy - thanks for asking, sorry not up for Atlanta
We saw Varekai in Philly about 6 weeks ago - was incredible

Thinking of winter vacation - may get back to NO for a few days by myself B)

Billy - thanks for asking, sorry not up for Atlanta

Ahem, and may I ask, WHY NOT??!! :zoinks:

BTW, looks like the leaves have finally decided to change - I've been working outside and spending time lounging in the porch swing and they're getting purty! My subdivision's a mountain, so I'm going to take a drive up it tomorrow and get some good views! :)

Peaches - nothing against Atlanta
Would love to get down that way sometime and see You, Wig, Sweet T and crew and maybe even dantheman and all the other fine residents of the area

Just a matter of how many winter vacations can I take :P
Already thinking Disney and NO (like every year :inlove: ), going back and forth on Vegas - I go to see maybe 10-12 people at an industry show and really don't care for Vegas that much

OK, Vick - just wanted to make sure you weren't dissin' us :P

Though from the schedule, it looks like they could be here in the spring. Springtime in Atlanta is somewhere you'd want to be - it's beeeyouteeful!

I've never heard of these 3, i hope they make it down under ...

i've seen

O
mystere
saltimbanco
drallion

I saw O first, and i've not found any of the others to be as impressive yet. I think i would prefer to see O over and over ;-)

saltimbanco & drallion were good, but just not as impressive.

vick, better get your O tickets now if your planning on going in january ;-)
I've missed out several times when trying to book 2 months in advance ;-(

La Nouba - is the first show I saw, in a permanent structure at Disney World

Varekai is the newest show - there will be a TV show starting Jan 6 on Bravo with a look behind the scenes of casting the show

I can't say any show is better than the others as they are all amazing but maybe I did enjoy La Nouba and Varekai the most

Vick
11-09-2002, 05:45 PM

HAHAHAHHAHAHA
free tickets?!

that would be a lot of gambling to get free tickets. now there's a big dick challenge for vegas LOL

Vick, I'm just reading about la nouba now, I had not heard of it until you mentioned it. A friend just sent me an icq saying this one is almost as good as O. I might have to take a trip to orlando next visit!

Billy

CJ.. I would guess that any of the shows that made it down under would have changed a lot.

I can see it now, an all Kangroo cast, that would make for a show

2 yrs. ago I went to see Saltimbanco in Seattle and was the one dragged on stage by that dastardly clown. It was an out-of-body experience and I almost have no recall as to what I ended up doing for about 20 minutes. It is a very wierd experience when one minute you are relaxing watching the fun and the next they are using you as a fool in front of 4,000 people that want their money's worth. I just remeber trying to bolt off the stage every two minutes and the clown would cut me off.

I have also seen O at the Bellgaio and Mystere at Treasure Island.
