I need to work on my headlines and thru testing on each board I'm learning what is effective.
WAIT- don't go! Please read below....
I and the Oprano team would like to start a forum of profiles and interviews. I suggested the idea to MikeAI who asked me to get one interview under my belt before actually creating the forum.
The interview will be scheduled ahead of time and conducted via ICQ or AIM. The chat will then be edited and posted in this new forum.
I’d like each interview to be unique, interesting and yet light-hearted. In webmaster circles many of you know each other, however I’d like to come in and give a fresh perspective as someone who doesn’t know you or the work you’ve done in adult internet. I’d like to talk about you personally; your thoughts, ideas, concerns and professionally; your business, programs, etc. Board subscribers will be allowed to make comment and start discussions based on the interview. It is not intended to be scandalous; however I can’t speak for the people who may continue the thread based on your interview.
At this time I’m creating a list of interesting people. The list isn’t about who is the most successful in the industry. I’d like to have a nice mix. I also feel that there are some excellent business opportunities out there for many of us and as CJ pointed out in the thread:
<Predictions And Contradictions, The future of Adult Internet>
“This is the BEST time to be in this industry. Look at all the leftovers visa created, just ready for collection! The rules have been changed ... adapt and start again, just like the last time and the time before that.”
I have to admit that I’m still learning a lot in adult internet even though I’ve been in the sex industry 15 years. I see many excellent programs I don’t understand. Many of you have banners up and you promote the hell out of your venues, however I personally find many to be complicated or with inadequate information. I’m hoping to shed some light in the interview on what you’re offering and how it might benefit webmasters today and in the future.
I’ve emailed a few of you with no reply. Maybe you don’t check your email or I’m not on your preferred list OR you don’t have time.
I’d also love to hear from all of you who you’d like to see in the profile area. This includes all people in the biz.
So help me out? <wink>
