Hello,
Allow me to introduce myself briefly. I am primarily a programmer, with lots of experience with Linux, Apache, PHP, Perl, mySQL, e-commerce integration, large scale databases (I can also do Oracle and Sybase, but I suspect there's not a big demand for that here), that sort of thing. I'd been semi-retired from a couple of dot.com businesses and focusing on my personal life in the past couple of years, but am now getting back into working.
I have some resources -- time, skills, a couple of dedicated servers + bandwidth, possibly some money -- and would like to find some experienced people that I could work with or for, with the general goal of establishing myself as someone trustworthy to partner with on future projects. I am interested in long term potential rather than small one-off projects -- but the latter is probably best as a starting point to test whether we could work together.
I am currently in Europe, although I live in the US about half the year, in case that is of any relevance.
