what's unreal is she will most likely not get the 3 years of prison she deserves. they are talking about just giving her probation/ community service. if that were any non movie star they would be guilty of all counts

You are right Jonas. however putting her in jail for 3 years is silly. Let her pay a huge fine, do community service, and be humiliated.
Jail should be for criminals who commit violent crimes for the most part - I always read how some cockholster gets put back on the street because of no room in the jails for them, and they go and commit more violent crime.

Personally, I think this has to have been the biggest waste of time since OJ's botched trial.
She'll get probation and she'll have to pay for the clothes. The ONLY thing the court is getting is the probation - she had already agreed to pay for the clothes.
So....how much money was wasted on the judge? How much on the jurors? How about the extra workers/security since it was a "celebrity"? How much time will a probation officer now have to waste for the next 3 years? How many REAL trials could have been put before the judge and jury during the time this fiasco occurred?
Yes, she's famous, but geeze - people get nailed all the time for shoplifting and how many times do you think a first offender, with the ability to pay, goes before a jury?
Her lawyers and the prosecutor should have dealt with this :angry:

As stupid as celeb law is this will probably be the best careeer move for her as she has portrayed herself as needing to be 'saved", so the social circles will find her GOOD work so they can say they turned her around.

OJ? Freaking murderer had found work to maintain the lifestyle he grew accustomed too
