I don't know if we'll see a bunch of B.S. prosecutions for obsenity as a result of the elections, although with the born-again crowd running the show now, who knows? The House and Senate doesn't impact that a bit, however. The implications for the industry are more subtle and long-term, something that seems to elude a lot of people. Short-term, neither party is going to do the industry any good. "It's the judges, stupid." There is nothing in the way of Bush appointing a whole set of judicial activists to the courts at every level, folks that will be around long after GW and the current Senate.

My worst nightmare, ulfie? I don't know. I sure as hell could have picked an outcome I would have liked better. Thing about it is, I know that we'll get a chance to rectify the damage in two short years. Only a moron or an idiot believes that life on the planet will cease if his party loses. Only the most simple minded feels the need to castigate the people who don't agree with him as having evil intent. Only the irrelevant claim a lock on patriotism.

My worst nightmare? Probably not. It could have been Torone.

Only place Townsend (nee Kennedy) is carrying is Baltimore City and Washington Suburbs but she had huge support in both those areas
