If so, how many and what types do you have?
Do they convert well? Who is your customer and how do you keep them?

I have two balloon fetish sites and a latina one ! I am not putting alot of time into the latina one since there is such a big market full of them . :)

Anyway, updating 2 to 4 times a week is how I keep my customers ! I have some that are reoccurring since I opened it a year ago but they are not rebills. They are customers who keep coming back and rejoining!

It's a hard fetish to promote since most photographers do not know how to produce content for it ! Anytime a webmaster writes an article on the adult resources for it, someone will send it to the balloon forums and the balloon fetish people will rank on the articles. etc etc.. There's a feeling among some of looners that " some people" in the biz are just ripping them off.. So it is a bit of a challenge to promote which I enjoy .

Small galleries 20 to 100 pics EACH ! Added a balloon plug in last month !

Balloon guys sometimes have a fetish for feet, lingerie ,food, or smoking ! I have added all my pics to the site so there is a nice variety . :)

Balloon fetish is a micro fetish from the latex fetish ! It's kinda a feely touchy and smelly fetish that usually starts in childhood. Some of the looner like blowing,popping, riding balloons themselves and like to watch women do it. The women being naked is not what their interest is.

I kinda thought that. I have a bunch of foot leg content and a personal interest. I'd like to open a good foot, leg, up the skirt site.

The biggest problems with producer and site builders trying to build nice they know nothing about is understanding the mindset. To them it's all about being naked and sticking something inside.

I read the balloon forums so I know what the guys want. I am just the small guy who does not make my own content like the players do ( besides what I take of myself ) . :)


I think :bulb2: if the content providers would join a few yahoo groups and forums of the fetish they are shooting , they would get an excellent insight to making quality fetish pics !

I've been in the lifestyle a long time and was a very well known pro-dom for many moons. I'm as kinky as they come. I certainly do understand the mindset, or at least the things that interest me.

I also take business seriously so when I hung my dominatrix shingle I researched everywhere. My clients were happy to help me understand their nuances and kinks. What very few people know is that prior to becoming involved in bdsm/fetish/femdom – I was studying esoteric psychology as an elective in college. My 20’s was the time when I questioned the meaning of life, religion and how I fit into this very big picture. That took me all over the place and I left NO stone up turn in my quest to know. I had my own kinks back then and perhaps I needed to understand why I was so different then most women. That’s what prompted me eventually ditch my day job and explore the world of female domination. I spent countless hours exploring each and every facet of male sexuality. I didn’t come across the balloon thing but figured it was an aborted aspect of rubber fetishism. (grin)

It’s been an incredible journey. Things have changed and yet I see more doors opening up. I see human sexuality expanding and fascinations becoming broader. I always felt that niches, primarily role-play, fetish, etc. were more archetypical and that not everyone could be coined as having childhood traumas. I’ve also seen the spiritual side of sexuality. I still enjoy ritual sex and the theatrics of elaborate, planned sex/eroticism. Vanilla, straight sex always bored me and never seduced my imagination. I like the mental fucking a lot more.

I see a slight connection with the new reality trend in porn. People’s morbid or forbidden fascinations may remain hidden demons, however if you notice they unleash those demons during times of high stress & emotion. Have you noticed that most men (I said MOST, not all) turn to sex when they’re depressed or stressed out? Damn this post can get really complex and before you know it I’ll be writing a book!

I think that the people, who understand these dynamics and marketing them appropriately, will tap into the new trends. The person who can bridge the gap between men and women will own the world.

You know what would be interesting? A concept that was cerebral, sexual and educational that made an introduction into a particular niche/fetish/kink and then gave the viewer a bird’s eye glimpse into it. A non-threatening venue that allowed them to tap into various forms of eroticism.
