View Full Version : Narrowly Missed Ball From Keyshon Johnson

If any of you were watching the bucs/vikings game yesterday, You might have seen me on TV! I don't really know if I was on TV, but when Keyshon scored one if his touchdowns he through the ball into the stands. A guy in my row, but about 10- seats over caught the ball!

He has a pretty good arm, he threw the ball into the club seats, not sure I could've come close to that.

Sharky,

When Keyshawn threw the ball - they didn't show it going into the stands on TV. :-(

I remember because the announcers commented on how far he threw it and I was wondering why they didn't show it.

Did they let him keep the ball? Here they come take it from you. Those footballs ain't cheap.

It was a little out of my reach to dive. Can you imagine a 300lb guy diving like a 10 year old and landing just shy of the prize?

I don't think the girls sitting next to me would have appreciated it!

haha

Too bad they didn't show it. He really through the ball up there.... we are in club seating which is easily 50+ rows up.

was it only 2? i thought it was 3?

as for them keeping the ball.. they sure did. The lady next to me mentioned the players have to pay a fine of $100 or $500 per ball(she wasn't sure). which is of course chump change to them. I think keyshawn threw 1, gave another to a kid in the stands, and gave brad johnson the other.

Last week when Vick threw the ball into the stands, the guy that caught it threw it back at him. I thought that was funny as hell. Surprised the superdome cops didn't come and get him for that.

I figured that was close to your section/seats when KJ threw that ball up in the club level. The kids that he handed the ball to was one row in front of us and about 4 seats over. The kid was so excited. They had a news crew that came over and interviewed the kid on camera, he had a blast.
