TRIPOLI, Libya (AP) -- Women from around the world gathered in Libya this week for the nation's first international beauty pageant, where contestants ditched swimsuits and sequins for T-shirts and dresses adorned with pictures of Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi.

Here's the kicker ...
"A series of photos shows American contestant Tecca Zendik, 23, of Los Angeles, crying as Ghadafi reportedly tells her how the United States bombed his home."

I had a Gadhafi T-shirt with a target on it when I was 18. Does that count?

Ohhh Duh, I thought that was a Miss Libya contest... I see now that these women are from around teh world.

I remember those GREAT photos back in the day of him with that huge general's hat and those cool black sunglasses B) - this is just as good! A tent full of hotties in imperialist-western-pigdog attire "raising the roof" and chanting his name!
