Howard Stern is remaking the movie. It was funny when I was a kid. Hopefully, they can make the remake appeal to more than teens - like American Pie.

Dear JR:

You are another person on my most-want-to-meet list!

Thanks for the translation....I'll just stop now and not ask "What dirty little thing?" you're talking about. LOL

i dunno about Howard remaking Porky's, it was a period piece, that was part of it's charm that it took place in Florida in the early 60's.

BUT Howard also bought the rights to 'Rock n Roll High School'. THAT could be a great movie updated.

Joey loved the Stern show. If Howard wasn't getting so long in the tooth he could have made a Ramones movie about the beginnings of the NYC punk scene and played Joey. Maybe with makeup and today's technology it's still possible.

Stern also had the rights to make a movie about the life and times of Sam Kinison. Wish that movie had been made. The 2002 version of 'Lenny'. Could have been a great flick.

RIP Sam :wnw:

Ah yes, Kim Catrall played "Honeywell" - girl's got the one of the nicest sets of tits in hollywood - :agrin: Her plastic Surgeon should be PROUD! :D

I still say the best thing she was ever in was "Big Trouble"!

Mutt-

Stern has talked about that movie being one of his favorites for years. I think he'll do a great job. I am not sure what his relationship is to the movie - part producer I think. They may be marketed as "Howard Stern Presents ..."

Stern has had a #1 movie, #1 book, #1 radio show. He's golden.
